The VPL-AW15 projector has nearly all of the the features of Sony's more expensive projectors. It has 1280x720 resolution, a manual zoom and focus, manual vertical and horizontal lens shift, and the famous Advanced Iris with Off and Manual positions.
The Sony VPL-AW15 features six picture modes. You can set up the three User modes with your own preferred picture settings, and you are also able to over-ride the pre-set settings for the Dynamic, Standard, and Cinema modes if you wish.
The Sony VPL-AW15 also includes RCP (Real Color Processing). This feature allows adjustments to the primary (red, green, blue) and secondary (yellow, cyan, magenta) colors to ensure that you get the perfect color no matter what you are using the VPL-AW15 for.
Included on the Sony VPL-AW15 is a Black Level Adjustment which adjusts and enhances dark images resulting in the illusion of deeper blacks. The VPL-AW15 comes with a handy remote control and the buttons are kept to a minimum, are large and well spaced and the remote utilizes a backlight for easy use in the dark.
